The path to innovation
"Regay Dahenan" is a project that I really enjoyed bringing to life. The idea behind it was to symbolize the journey of invention, starting from a simple desk where ideas are born. I wanted the desk to feel alive with creativity, so I filled it with sketches of various inventions—each one representing a spark of inspiration.
The highlight of the animation is the wooden cubes. I spent a lot of time figuring out how to make these cubes feel like they had a purpose, like they were pieces of a larger puzzle. As they come together, they slowly construct the title "Regay Dahenan," which means "Inventions Way" in Kurdish. This moment is meant to represent the culmination of creativity and effort, where all the little ideas finally come together to form something greater.
One of the challenges I faced was getting the cubes to move in a way that felt just right—not too mechanical, but with a sense of purpose. It took some trial and error, but I’m really happy with how it turned out. The whole process reminded me how much detail and care goes into even the simplest ideas when you're trying to tell a story through motion.
